DANIELLE'S 1-ON-1

Sweet Danielle M! I stopped seeing much chemistry between these two before this week but it's always a little sad to see a contestant you like (and who evidently all the other women liked) go home, especially tearfully.

There's not much to say about this date because, frankly, not much happened. The conversations felt stilted and dry; I'm not sure if it was edited this way just to support Nick eventually axing Danielle M, but either way nothing much surprised me here.

Don't believe me that the above's a Pick-up? Compare his hair to an ITM from him talking about Corinne's attempted seduction later that night...

I wouldn't be surprised if the above Pick-up wasn't from weeks or even months later. The key phrase for this narrative was "I know the right thing to do is to say goodbye to Danielle", and gosh darn it, they got it.

Lastly, (and I know nobody missed this!) a .GIF just HAD to be made of Corinne inexplicably yet determinedly (perhaps drunkenly?) avoiding Nick's hotel's automatic sliding doors...

I googled it and apparently this is an actual phobia.

RACHEL'S 1-ON-1

I always enjoy the little moments that show Nick's true personality while simultaneously cracking that 4th wall, and this moment was one of those...

This got a true LOL out of me.

In my humble opinion, it's quips like this that make Nick different from any Bachelor before him. He, THE BACHELOR HIMSELF, referencing what he's meant to do but in a semi-sarcastic, semi-critical way, is crazy meta and I for one love it.

As for Rachel, I loved how much she loved a date of not even really doing anything and I could totally relate...

Helicopter rides and bungee jumping are nice, but a date where the only entertainment is the conversation is the best. As I said over on Flare, I'm thrilled Rachel's the Bachelorette but part of me wishes I'd been kept in the dark for a tad bit longer, if only for the suspense, since after this date I really could picture these two together.

NICK BOOTS KRISTINA

I also mentioned this in my The Morning After video, but this moment required a .GIF as well...

... and NOT because I think Nick indeed didn't give Kristina a fair chance. I've said it a million times now, but the women Nick wants to keep he will keep and give plenty of fair chances to. What I loved about this is that instead of just nodding and tearfully packing her bags, Kristina actually came out and said this, and it's another 4th wall breaker. Kristina didn't get her first 1-on-1 until just last week; she would have had to make up some serious ground to catch up to the likes of Vanessa and Rachel. This just goes to show that this experience truly isn't equal for all. As Danielle M said last week, a relationship can only develop when you spend time together, but the truth is that in the structured cookie cutter environment of The Bachelor, there is only so much time to go around. I'll miss Kristina and her heavy hitting one-liners.

Все это понятно, что ГГ будет развивать отношения с теми, с нем ОНИ хотят. А в жизни это не так? Только в шоу больше девушек, чем нужно, а потому постепенно от них избавляются. И если бы Кристина пошла на первое ИС, то ее участь бы не изменилась, просто первое ИС было не для ее истории, а для Данни. Данни получила еще одно ИС, если говорить о времени "наедине", но ушла она еще раньше Кристины, хоть и на той же "неделе". После 1-го ИС еще тяжелее дожидаться времени наедине.
У Даниеллы Л И свидание было раньше и больше времени наедине и больше роз она получила, но и это ничего не изменило, она ушла еще раньше Кристины! Так что, участвуя в шоу, все девушки кроме одной будут отправлены домой раньше или позже, если ГГ сами не жаждут проводить с ними больше времени и держать в шоу.
Кстати, это Уитни сказала относительно времени, проведенном вместе в отношениях.
Поскольку, похоже, в этом сезоне ГГ рано определился с тем кто ему по душе, то нам, в основном, показывали Коринн и она была главным действующим лицом до настоящего времени и вокруг нее крутился весь сюжет. :rolleyes: Даже и не знаю что бы нам показывали, если бы ее не было... :dntkw:

Фраза: "она была готова сделать ВСЕ возможное для того, чтобы познакомить его со своей семьей" именно так и воспринимается?
Неожиданно... когда человек готов сделать ВСЕ возможное для чего то, то в первую очередь это говорит о его несгибаемом намерении. Коринн очень предприимчивый человек и намерений ей не занимать, она упоминала, что всегда добивается того, чего хочет. А, как изветно, за достижение целей отвечает сила намерения. И в гифке, которую я там поместила она вся натянутая как струна, как стрела, движимая силой своего намерения. В этом сезоне достаточно intentional women, но, например, Даниелла Л не была одной из них и в этом, на мой взгляд, был ее минус. К сожалению, Даниелла Л стала следствием истории развода родителей, а потому ее причинность в отношениях подавлена, как мне видится. Чего не сказать даже о кристине, которая больше всех пострадала в своей жизни и ее отношения тоже будут нелегкими. Но вот Коринн, как раз, одна из целеустремленных девушек, у которой можно даже поучиться.
При чем тут были проститутки с их детьми вообще не поняла. Очень многие девушки сознательно или бессознательно подсаживают парней на секс. Но в этом шоу невозможно это сделать с первого же свидания, что нередко происходит в жизни. Так что сравнение совершенно неуместное... :dntkw:

Raven and Nick enjoy some good old downhome fun as they climb to the top of a grain bin – to either break up or make out – as is the local custom. They are interrupted by the wailing of a police siren, and it looks like Nick might get arrested. The couple four-wheel through a muddy swamp and passions run high as they roll around in the muddy water. After they clean up, it’s time to meet Raven’s parents. Her dad has been dealing with health issues and shares some encouraging news. Will Raven now feel safe enough to share her feelings with Nick and let him know she is falling in love?

Then, it is on to Dallas where Rachel and Nick confront the challenges that might meet an interracial couple.
Rachel meets Nick in Dallas and takes him to church. He may be one of few white people in attendance, but he feels right at home. How will he feel when he meets Rachel’s family? After the two discuss the trials and tribulations they may face as an interracial couple, they discover that, happily, her family sees in him what she sees in him. With this last hurdle cleared, will Rachel admit to herself that she is falling in love with Nick and will she tell him?

However, in Miami, Corinne has already fallen head over designer heels in love with Nick, which she has no problems sharing with him. The bold bachelorette takes her low-key suitor to one of the most exclusive malls in Miami to shop for an outfit that will impress her wealthy family – and her much-buzzed-about nanny, Raquel.
Corinne’s protective dad is concerned whether Nick will be able to keep his daughter in the style to which she is accustomed.

There is a double test waiting for Nick in Montreal when Vanessa takes him to visit her special-needs students and her family. Her students are enthusiastically receptive, but her family has serious concerns about where the couple would live and how Vanessa will manage if she is asked to move away from the people and places she has held dear to her. Her father doesn’t help matters by sharing some information about Nick that has Vanessa questioning whether she will get her fairytale ending.

Although her specialneeds adult students give him a big thumbs up, things don’t go quite so well with her big Italian family, especially after her father drops a bomb about Nick that has Vanessa questioning their relationship.

The final four anxious women come to New York for the rose ceremony. As he contemplates his next decision, Nick is not beyond being very nervous himself. He has been in love twice before with Andi and Kaitlyn, only to have his heart broken both times. Will everything explode in his face again? The answer might come from a surprise visitor to Nick’s hotel, who could alter everything.
