Ошибка. Я бы хотел выделить несколько стадий в отношениях:
1) внешняя симпатия + определённое интуитивное восприятие психологической совместимости.
2) общение: происходит обоюдная сверка жизненных, семейных и прочих ценностей + одновременно они сокращают психологическую дистанцию. На данном этапе превалируют разговоры на серьёзные темы, и общение имеет тенденцию становиться тяжёлым.
если этап 2 благополучно пройден, наступает
3)я стадия: общение лёгкое, когда люди становятся психологически близки друг другу.
бывает ещё стадия 2.5), это когда перейти на стадию 3) они не могут, темы для серьёзных разговоров уже закончились, но терять друг друга они не хотят, либо боятся. А психологическую близость прекрасно заменяет близость физическая, та которая ну очень физическая.

Что важно отметить:
-на 2м этапе нежелательно задерживаться слишком долго, потому как серьёзные темы рано или поздно утомляют. Но можно и посмотреть под другим углом. У действительно интеллектуальных и образованных людей темы для интересных разговоров никогда не закончатся. Второй угол можно обвинить в снобизме, первый - в примитивности и слабом интеллекте.
-не все люди одинаково ценят близость третьей стадии.

Как я понимаю, с точки зрения Шарлин, третья стадия не выше второй, а ниже.

С Амандой Бен уже на 3й стадии, с ДжоДжо они на пути к 3й, но ещё не там. С Кейлой они много времени провели на 1й стадии, потом медленно перешли на вторую, и пока там же без определённого прогресса. Лорен... у Лорен всё хорошо.

P.S. встречалось на этом проекте пару раз такое словосочетание "caliber of women". Или наоборот, если взять обратную градацию, кто ближе всех к идеальной женщине. Я уже говорил, и повторю, ближе всех к идеалу JoJo. Но, "идеальная" женщина далеко не идеальная пара для Бена.
P.P.S. по всей видимости в доме JoJo Бена будут бить по самому больному месту - по карьере.

WARSAW
We start off in Ben's hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, where our Bachelor is describing his remaining 6 "girlfriends" to his parents. Right off the bat, he drops a doozy about Jojo...

As he takes the ladies to their Warsaw digs, only a boat ride across the pond from the house in which he grew up, Emily, who is 23-years old, presumably has professional aspirations, and has not yet been on one real date with Ben, talks about family and babies with Ben...

LAUREN B'S ONE-ON-ONE

The way Ben looks at Lauren B is on another level. It is! I always feel like he's consciously soaking it in when he's with her...

This was a very special one-on-one. (I don't say that lightly!) It combined a peek into Ben's past with getting involved in the community and the whole thing just warmed my heart. It sounds cheesy but it's true.

Plus, just when I thought this date couldn't get any cuter, I realized they were twinsies all day...

In the evening, the major (and only shown) topic is about whether or not Lauren B is, in fact, the same person with Ben that she is around the women. There's basically no discussion to be had here. It's clear Ben is insanely into Lauren B and their "issues" are patched up faster than you can say, "Leah, who?"
At the end of the night Lauren B finally utters the L-word, but it's how she delivers the information that reminds me why I find her so gosh darn relatable...

So many contestants look either too sincere or too delusional when they say they're in love on The Bachelor. But with Lauren B, you can tell she KNOWS how clichéd what she's saying sounds and can't quite believe she's saying it. And it's for those reasons that I believe her.
