Ben indicated in an interview that he was “shocked” to discover that two women from Chris’s season will also be on his … Becca Tilley and Amber James. However, he said that the reason he was shocked was because he was actually pleased that those two women wanted to meet him.
Ben admitted that he did not fully watch Chris’s season. He knew there was the possibility he would be dating one of the women from that show, and he did not want to have preconceptions.

“She is a little spitfire from Dallas — my hometown, so gotta love her. She is a real estate developer and a free spirit, but recently went through a breakup. As strong and bold as she seems on the outside, she is a little gun shy and reluctant, to say the least. Her main thing is letting go, and Ben keeps trying to get her to do so because he likes JoJo. They hit it off immediately and have chemistry. But she’s that girl who has the walls up. Also, she had one of the more unique entrances, as she came out wearing a unicorn mask. I think she was making a joke about how guys are always holding out for a unicorn.”

Emily and Haley Ferguson (22, Las Vegas)

“They are our twins, our evil twins with super powers. [Insert maniacal laugh] No, they are identical twins. They get out of the limo together, much to Ben’s surprise. They both watched Kaitlyn’s season and really liked Ben. They discovered that they both wanted to apply for the show, so they both did. This was the first time they have fallen for the same guy, as they usually have differing tastes. This is one of those instances: From 30,000 feet, it seems like every guy’s dream. But when you are standing there in front of them, you quickly realize it has potential to go south quickly. It can be problematic to date sisters, as you could imagine. Luckily, they are very close and very loving and did not come on to play games. We treat them separately, and Ben dates them separately, but there are times when it is hard not to treat them as a unit. I can’t speak for Ben, but I couldn’t tell them apart. Thankfully, they did not do the grade-school twin thing and dress in matching outfits, and there was an incident early on and one of them hurts her thumb, so I could start to tell them apart because of the bandage.”

“She is an esthetician from Southern California. She is very interesting. She is young, sweet, soft-spoken, and beautiful. She is the one and only mother we have this season, and she actually has not one but two kids — two little girls. Although she is only 25, she obviously has a lot on her plate. Ben is looking for something serious and says he is ready for a family, but the big question is if he’s looking for a ready-made, built-in family? Because he likes her, it is something they will deal with, but not immediately. She does not come out of the limo on night one and vomit up her entire life story. She revealed it in a very smart way and handles it gracefully, which Ben appreciates, and it makes her that much more attractive to him.”

“Olivia is a 23-year-old news anchor from Texas who took a break and put her career on hold to do The Bachelor. Obviously pretty. Pleasant smile. One of the things Ben worries about is if she is sincere, because she has a career in television. And he wonders, like everyone does, if she is there for the right reasons — or is she here for publicity? She’s beautiful, and Ben takes a liking to her straight out of the limo. She makes a strong first impression.”

“She has a great name. It should be a nail polish. She was in the army and is a war veteran. She’s a very strong, bold, loyal woman. But she is also very down-to-earth and sweet. She has that attitude and strong will that fit her name. She’s the opposite of Amanda, who is quiet and demure. You get this intensity with her because she has the military background, but on the inside, she is actually very vulnerable and sensitive. She has an amazing story. She had a bit of a rough upbringing — born in Haiti, adopted by an American couple, and then served. Ben is impressed with her story as he gets to know her.”

The 2016 season and 20th edition of The Bachelor will begin on Monday night, and Ben Higgins is going to try and find love when he couldn’t with Kaitlyn Bristowe. Twenty-eight women will enter the mansion in Los Angeles, California, but before the season premiere is over, one-fourth of them will be going home.
The season premiere of The Bachelor 2016 will not be starting with a two-night event as some past seasons have done. The first episode will be on Monday night and run for two hours, but there is going to be a lot of things happening so be prepared.
Reality Steve is reporting that the first episode of the new season is going to be one filled with a lot of drama and some unbelievable moments. First off though, the world will be introduced to all of the women who are vying for Ben Higgins’ love.
Maegan Miller brings her pony, and the pony stays at the cocktail party all night.
-Breanne Rice gives Ben a breadbasket.
-JoJo Fletcher wears a unicorn head which she eventually takes off.
-Lauren Russell tells him that she’s been stalking him on social media for 2 months (we saw this on the promo)
-Leah Block comes out of the limo and throws a football with Ben.
-Mandi Kremer wears a headband with a giant rose on it in her entrance. Says if Ben is lucky “maybe you can pollinate it later,” basically turning into this season’s Kaitlyn when she mentioned to Chris he could plow her field. This was shown on the promo.
-Lauren Himle brought a bouquet from a wedding, because Ben had mentioned that he caught the garter at a recent one he attended.
-Jackie Dion gave him a “save the date” card for their future wedding. Oh Jackie. How’d that work out for you?
-Isabel Goodkind wore a pajama onesie all night. No. Just, no.
-Lace kissed him during their introduction, which basically started laying the groundwork for her edit this season.
During the cocktail party, Mandi (being a dentist) ended up giving Ben a check up. Laid him down and everything. And even kissed him as well. Mandi will be the crazy/comedic relief.
