Я посмотрела 1 серию Терапии для пар, на которой они были и потом местами. Основная проблема там была в том, что он не собирался уезжать из своего города, а она там жить не хотела, ей климат не подходит, слишком влажно. На тот момент они собирались попробовать переехать в ЛА, на что какая то знаменитость на шоу в разговорщ с ней рассмеялась, что в ЛА ей жить не понравится. Еще Никки очень напрягало, что везде люди к ним приставали, хотели с ними сфотаться. Ну, вот, наверное, так они и не нашли компромисса с местом жительства. Хуану Пабло, однозначно, было удобно жить там, где вся его семья живет и мама ребенка с дочкой там же. В общем ей все это надоело, не сложилось.
Никки - лучшая подружка Энди, будет подругой невесты на ее свадьве.
А вы слышали, что австралийский Холостяк 2 сезона вместе с 3-й финалисткой Louise?

Да, она отлично выглядела! В обсуждениях уже гадали не сделают ли ее холостячкой и будет ли она во 2-м сезоне ВIP.

Крис, действительно, один из самых "приземленных" и искренних холостяков. Один из немногих, кто не пришел пиариться. Сестра его "сдала" туда. Ну а то, что он обнимачий и целовачий, это мы уже и сами знаем! Много будет поцелуев в шоу, уже началось!
С Бритт у них мгновенная химия случилась, но она актриса из Голливуда, вот уж ее то точно не вижу в роли его жены, но вижу в роли Холостячки!

В этом сезоне, блин, уже раструбили по всему интернету кого он выбрал, с каждым годом все раньше и раньше это происходит! :ph34r: И она мне нравится и они, мне кажется, отлично подходят друг другу, но посмотрим как события будут развиваться!
А Бен совсем из другой категории, когда он благодаря маме Кардашиан продвигал свое вино, даже слухи ходили, что они встречаются, я поняла, что он не такой простой! Простым и искренним он мне казался только в сезоне Холостячки.
А шоу, да, не для слабонервных!

<center></center>I’ll admit I was not totally sold on Chris Soules as the Bachelor (я тоже не была уверена, что он вытянет шоу!). I feared he was a little one-note to carry a season himself, and considering he got the “Bachelor” edit (otherwise known as a flattering edit) on Andi Dorfman’s season, that was worrisome. That said, and I know we’re only one episode in, I’m not unhappy with him so far. He’s obviously kind and a consummate gentleman; he’s rolling with the punches nicely. His ITMs are funnier than expected, whether on purpose or not, and I like that he’s a red-blooded dude through it all, not a neutered pretty boy. He ogles the girls but still comes off respectful. That’s a tough balance to find and it seems to come naturally to him.

I watched the episode with the live studio audience in Los Angeles after walking the “red carpet.”

In some ways it was a premiere like any other: a bevy of striking girls under 30, fashion hits and misses, questionable drama (this time in the form of delayed limos), and the grand tradition of pummeling the girls with bubbly and then cruelly zooming in on their drunken antics. But in my opinion it was a more entertaining premiere than usual, because it really was all about the women. They were full of personality and there was a lot of airtime for the girls chatting with one another about topics other than Chris. This is rarer than it sounds. We don’t just sit around talking about the First Impression Rose or how hot the Bachelor is, but this is all that’s traditionally shown.

The obvious front-runner, even before she received the FIR. I was slightly concerned by the “free hugs” segment because it shows she’ll do whatever the producers tell her to, no matter how embarrassing, and her breathless, uncomfortably long limo exit hug was strange. She certainly doesn’t shy away from the limelight. Thankfully, she’s got star power and it’s therefore difficult not to like her. She’s beautiful, has amazing hair, and this might sound weird, but I like her voice. Seriously, pay attention to her speaking voice next week. It’s never too high or grating, just very pleasant.

Jade, 28:

She’s obviously a pretty girl and seems sweet, but my reasons for choosing Jade are more research-based. First, Chris had a very strong reaction to her, gawking the way Juan Pablo did when he first met Andi, and they were sure to show it. Second, like Andi, she was very last out of the limos. This is a coveted spot and the limo exit order is never an accident.

Whitney, 29:

It’s not so much that Whitney really stood out in terms of obvious airtime or sparks, but the fact that they didn’t skim over a second of her limo exit and that she was ever-present but not too present throughout the episode makes me think she’s not going anywhere. Above all, though, and my main reason: Chris specifically said he was “excited about her.”

This season’s Kelly Travis, so obviously I’m a fan (вот бы никогда не подумала, но Шарлин виднее!). But Chris clearly is as well. I personally believe men like funny girls, or at least girls they find funny. Kaitlyn is the class clown, surely, but the fact that Chris kept her around—and called her first, no less—after she’d made so many (hilarious) off-colour jokes says he gets her humour. Plus, she’s Canadian, so GO TEAM!

I was really on the fence over whether to recap this season or not. I couldn't help but think of all the things I could learn and accomplish in the hours it takes to recap a whole season. Take sewing lessons, attempt to learn Mandarin (again), learn a new opera role...? But no, you wonderful people guilted me all over social media until I caved. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. As a happy-medium, I'm going to go with shorter recaps, but I figure shorter is better than none at all.

I was in LA for the premiere, along with about 45 other members of the Bachelor family. Frankly, as fun as it was and as cool as it is to be flown out and put up there, I wasn't quite sure why I was there. They've never done a "live" viewing event for a premiere before, and the girls and I were sure there would be some special, top-secret announcement. They kept stressing the "red carpet" dress code (something they never do; If you want to show up in a burlap bag and no makeup, you truly can) and providing so little information, I was half-expecting to walk into a surprise-filming of Lacy and Marcus' wedding. (Not that I'd ever be invited to that anyway)

Turns out there was no surprise, other than several fantastic fans who were far too kind. (Remind me to write a blog post about the strangeness of D-list celebrity.)

Anyway, on to the premiere. I'm finding it hard to dislike (and therefore mock) Chris as the Bachelor, which somewhat surprises me. It's not that I had any issue with him, I just thought he came off a bit goodie-goodie and one-note on Andi's season to carry a whole season himself. Considering he got the Bachelor edit (read: a flattering edit) on his season, this is a very feasible problem. However, while not electrifying television gold, I thought he was endearing. He's manly and rugged, with an appropriate "I have no idea what I'm doing here" vibe to him. He's not a metrosexual pretty boy who seems to want to parlay this fleeting fame into some entirely different life of showbiz. These are good things.
Arlington, Iowa, though? Hoo boy. A slower-paced life surely has its upsides, but a population of 416 is hard to fathom. And while I appreciate that it probably is indeed tough meeting ladies in his world, it's not likely that the average girl who applies to be on the Bachelor is interested in that lifestyle. It's safe to say they cast about half the girls as legitimate, feasible options for Chris, and the rest are for entertainment value.
Согласна, что шоу, возможно, не самое лучшее место для Криса искать себе невесту. И меня не очень убеждает когда он говорит, что главное влюбиться, а потом будут решать проблемы как быть вместе. Как раз влюбиться то и не проблема, все проблемы и начинаются после шоу.

LIMO EXIT STANDOUTS (FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE)

As with last season, here's my disclaimer: Before I offend anyone, let me just say that one of my biggest peeves is overt attention whores. Yes, I realize everyone on this series (myself included) did not end up there by accident. But believe it or not, I think this show is a fascinating study of human interaction and relationship development, and it detracts from the authenticity of this when someone is obviously there to chase the spotlight.
<center></center>Britt, 27 - They always start with someone strong, and Britt's no exception. I have a few reservations about her, though, the main one being I feel she's a bit affected. I don't doubt her sincerity, but I do feel like she knows how to play this game. (Plus, she's a waitress in LA, so she's very likely an aspiring actress... nothing wrong with that, but is a 27-year old aspiring actress going to be willing to move to Arlington, Iowa for farm life? Just sayin'.) That said, she is SO pretty. Like, ridiculously pretty. And has amazing hair. And good style. And I want to be her friend.
